Right now the Segovia guitar is in the exhibition in honor of the Met&#039;s just-retired director featuring key acquisitions of his thirty years in the position, as are some other beautiful musical instruments.  You can read about it on the Museum&#039;s website under the exhibition &quot;The Philippe de Montebello Years;&quot; there&#039;s even a little audio talk with the director and curator where they discuss how an Austrian maker came to make a Spanish-style guitar.
