Non-Guitar Dosage: Play to Grow and Grow to Play

in Non-Guitar Dosage

We see it all around us: people so serious about what they do that it puts them in a nicely wrapped box they never can get out of. We learn to play the guitar because one day we decided we loved it so much we wanted to learn how to. Then we put years into it and then forget to play. By that I mean…just play and not worry about right or wrong, too pop, too rock, too power ballad, etc etc. In short, we become ‘grown-ups’ and shed our childlike fascination for the guitar.

Don’t let me fool you into thinking that ‘play is not the opposite of work’. Let the guy you’re about to see tell you.
