This week, let’s begin with an Australian band my friend Sandy recommended, Angus & Julia Stone. Tracks from the duo’s second album ‘Down The Way‘ – which they produced it as well – were recorded, among others, in our own Brooklyn and Queens. The heavy touring the band has done to support their first album, and the influence of local music, I assume, must have had an impact in their writing the new material.
